OPTICAL SALES ASSISTANT - FULL TIME

Oxia Optical is currently looking for an Optical Sales Associate to join our Sea Point team on a permanent basis.

DESCRIPTION

Optical assistants are the first point of contact for customers. They welcome customers into the store, carry out pre-screening tests and help customers select the correct frames and lenses for their prescription.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sell upmarket frames and lenses to a wide variety of clients
Eyewear dispensing, adjustments, repairs, and maintenance
The highest level of customer service
Lens measurements and ordering
Administrative tasks
Prepare and package online orders

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum one year experience in luxury retail or a retail optical setting
Enjoy selling high-end accessories to international and local customers
Detail, quality, and service oriented
Independent and organised work habits required
Courteous and effective communication skills both verbal and written, including frequent and prompt email usage
Highly motivated and excellent team player
Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous

BENEFITS
